Why don't you communicate with people around you on a regular basis? asked Radha to her husband Rahul.

I think most people find me boring!replied Rahul.

Well! I found you intresting enough, Radha said.

Everyone is not in love with me dear,Rahul said.

what an idiotic reason! I found you intresting enough for the start of communication which led to our love and eventually marriage, Radha said.

Now if you would have been grumpy with me like you are with most people, there was no Chance of us being together. People in general doesn't like something they don't understand and if you are going to make it harder for everyone by not being friendly and communicative, of course they are not going to like you, Radha continued.

I don't need them to like me! I want them to be as indifferent towards my life as I am towards theirs. Everyone should mind their own bussiness rather than poking at other's, Rahul said loudly.

Radha did not liked the loud voice from her husband but decided to continue the conversation anyway.

Only fools shout in a discussion, and they do it to prove a point which they can't prove using logic and rationale. This is not a fight but a discussion. Learn to behave!

And why do you think that when two people talk, they are poking in each other's life. There can be a normal communication on mutually neutral topics. And even if they share their life events with each other, what is wrong in that?

Rahul did not liked the way this discussion was in progress. He found the logic of his wife impeccable. He said, ' when you communicate with anyone then you share a part of your life trusting that your secrets are safe with that person, and then some days later, everyone in your surrounding knows about it. Its called gossip, the darkest form of communication where the only point of discussion is to ridicule the subject of the gossip. There is a reason that people have concluded that idiots talk about people and wise talks about ideas. If you speak about the ideas, very soon you will find people around you will leave you alone.

Radha liked the normalcy and logic back in the conversation.

she said,' what you are saying is ideally true but practically not possible. Have you ever realised, why people gossip about anyone?

Deep inside their mind, they know their own dark secrets and their weaknesses. Realising your own incompetencies and working on them is difficult, thus to make people around you look bad atleast in your mind makes you feel better and who doesn't want to feel better by doing nothing. But you must also realise that by doing so they are finding you worthy enough of their time and energy. People around you should not impact your life in such a way that you stop an important aspect of your life, talking with people around you and learn their way of perceiving the world.

You are right! changing for the people you dislike is like giving too much importance to the garbage. But I think there should be a filter and a very conscious effort to decide what to say, when to say and how to say and most importantly with whom to say.Just because of the ugliness of the world, there is no point in damaging your eyes otherwise you will miss the beauty of this world as well which far outweighs the ugliness. Rahul concluded.

you want everyone to think so much before talking to each other! No one will like to do it, Radha said .

That's why it's better to speak less till the time you have this mastery. once you are master, it will come naturally. Improvement should be the goal of life,Rahul said.

No wonder people find you boring, and mark my words, No body will give a damn about what you think even if you are right because it's not easy. Everyone will continue to live their life as they do now,Radha said.
